Effective date: 2026-07-01

AQON Wallet is a self-custody wallet; users can delete their wallet and data directly in the app at any time.

Delete Directly in the App (Recommended)

  1. Open the app → go to Settings
  2. Select Remove Wallet
  3. Re-confirm your 6-digit PIN
  4. Upon confirmation, the following are performed:
    • Device unbind — the server unlinks and deletes this device's binding and push-token information
    • Complete deletion of on-device data — all data in secure storage, including the seed phrase, private key, PIN, backup password, and app settings, is permanently deleted

⚠️ Be sure to back up your seed phrase (12 words) before deleting. After deletion, the Company cannot recover it for you.

Uninstalling the app from your device also removes the on-device data.

Requesting Additional Deletion of Data Remaining on Servers

The "Remove Wallet" action above removes on-device data and device-binding information. If you also want to delete information that may remain on servers (e.g., handle/profile, chat messages), please request it below.

  • Email: help@aqonwallet.com
  • Subject: [AQON Data Deletion Request]
  • Include in the body: wallet address (or handle), and the details of your request
  • Identity verification: because wallet addresses and handles are public information, to protect users from impersonated requests, the Company may ask you to prove you are the actual owner of the wallet via a wallet signature (signing with your private key). Requests for which ownership cannot be verified may be declined. (The in-app "Remove Wallet" action is already authenticated, so no separate verification is required.)
  • Processing time: after identity verification, we will process within 30 business days and reply with the result.

Data That Is Deleted / Data That Cannot Be Deleted

Deleted

  • All on-device data (seed, private key, PIN, backup password, settings)
  • Device-binding information and push tokens on the server
  • (Upon request) handle/profile, chat messages, etc. on the server

Cannot be deleted

  • Transaction history and wallet addresses recorded on the blockchain (TRON) — due to the intrinsic nature of a public distributed ledger, no one can delete them.
  • Records subject to a legal retention obligation — destroyed after the mandatory period elapses.
